In the words of Samuel Jonathan, "Public Administration without Public Speaking is impossible". During the course of discharging their duties, every public official will eventually have to face the audience and articulate their ideas, insight and illustrations. However, one thing is certain; Whether the audience are members of the Press, governmental counterparts or the general public; when it is "showtime", it is too late for rehearsal!
"Public Speaking for Public Administrators" is a 2-week certificate course conducted by the Royal Centre for Public Speaking. On Tuesday, March 23, in collaboration with the Department of Public Administration and Local Government, the Royal Centre for Public will conduct a 1-day "clinic" version of this course. This 1-day learning experience will serve as an enriched introduction to the rudiments of public speaking.
